Welcome to 2018-19 Dance Season

2018

PARTNERS DANCE STUDIO LLC

It’s hard to believe a new dance year is already here! Although the summer is coming to an end, I am so excited to see all the dancers. We are going to have a great year!

The first class is scheduled Tuesday September 10th and classes go until April. Classes are scheduled afternoon and evenings during the week. There is 2 year-end dance recitals, which is a time to show off all our dance moves. The recital is at the Columbus High School. The dates have not been finalized. I will inform you as soon as I can confirm.

There are 5 types of classes that are offered:

Tap, Jazz, and Tumbling- 1 hour long, once a week

Tumbling for all levels- 1 hour long, once a week

Ballet for 1st graders and older- ½ hour long, once a week

Hip Hop for 4th graders and older- ½ hour long, once a week

Extra for dedicated dancers 7th grade and older- 1 hour long, once a week

Because the desire for certain types of dance changes every year, I try to provide a class for all levels of dance. Sometimes there is not enough interest in one particular level. Therefore, I have decided to only run a class with at least 6 students. If there are not enough students to make a class, I will try to merge them with another comparable group. If not, I will not be able to offer that class this year.

I have detailed tuition, costume deposit, and dress code policies below. Please understand and keep reference for the dance year.

The viewing lounge is an essential part of the studio, just as you are essential part of your child’s love for dance. The viewing lounge is the place where families watch their child’s class without being in the studio. I really urge parents and siblings to use the area to not distract the dancers. It is not necessary for you to stay. Student Teachers or myself will help your child with their dance shoes and stay with them until you return.

There will be NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES (except for water bottles) permitted in the dance area. All food and drinks must stay in the parents’ viewing lounge.

The shoe swap service is still available. If you want buy any dance shoes or if you want to sell you child’s old shoes from the shoe trunk, please check with me.

It is going to be a great year. Thank you for being a part of it.

Forever Dancing,

Genese Brisky
